One guess

So I will give everyone one guess which child opened the kitchen gate, opened the "child-proof" kid lock on the refrigerator, opened the drawer that sticks in the fridge, opened a Ziploc bag that most adults have a hard time with and sat on my living room floor biting the ends off of hot dogs while I was in the shower. Oh, and in the meantime dripped hot dog juice, yes hot dog juice on my floor.

You only get one guess, so use it wisely. :)

My favorite of Today

Because they're incredible, duh

I am not sure who exactly came up with the Incredibles, but they deserve a gold star. This is Ty every afternoon. It is his favorite movie. Whenever it is his choice, this is what we watch. It is also Tyler code for "I am really tired and kinda wanna take a nap but don't want to admit it" Today he made it about 3 min before he was out.

That is what I thought when Rylee came home from school and proceeded to get out ALL of her Little People to make a town. I saw her floor for 2 hours, and now it is gone again.
We will try again in a few days, probably with fairly similar results.

(But she was very content for several hours in her little town, so it is all ok)

amazing...

Today we made the most amazing discovery. Did anyone else know that there is carpet in Rylee's room? And it is practically new, being as it rarely sees the light of day.
Who knew?

This is what "nothing" looks like. If you have ever asked your kids what they are doing, and they say "nothing" it might just be this.

Sunday afternoon in the driveway

They are each on their scooters, and having a great time. I didn't get a picture of it, but this was also the day Wy finally gained the confidence and learned to ride his bike. He was really excited.

This is how the kids and I spent part of Labor Day. It was a great day to be outside and for them to burn off all that energy.

These are Rylee on her first day of school last week. The one by the sign is the night before at back-to-school night, since we knew it was going to rain the next day. She is doing well and loves going to school.

I have tons of really good pictures to put on. But not today.

Today I am just really thankful. I am thankful for nice cool fall weather. I am thankful for rainy days that just beg to be spent with friends. I am very thankful for good friends to spend the afternoon with at a certain playplace. And mostly I am very thankful that the above mentioned playplace was fairly empty for the majority of the time that we were there.

What a great day. I love those friends that just get you. The ones who have seen you at your best, they have seen you at your worst, and everywhere in between. And after all of that, they still choose to be in you life. I love them. It was a great day. I came home fully ready to tackle laundry, children pets and all the other things demanding my attention.
