$155,000

I love animals. Dogs especially. I think they are great. We have 3 currently, and no matter how stupid they may be at times, we will never be without at least one.
That being said, I find it incredibly absurd that some family spent $155,000 to clone their dog. How dumb is that? We aren't talking about adopting a needy child and changing a persons life. We aren't even talking about adopting a shelter dog and giving them a home. No, we are talking about spending that kind of money on cloning your dead lab. Like there aren't enough labs running around. There is seriously something wrong with that.
Probably one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard of. Talk about an unhealthy attachment. Pets die. It just happens. It is part of life.

For that money, they could have built over 30 wells in Africa. But no, they have another dumb dog.
I really hope they think it is worth the investment. This dog will eventually die too.

How do you even discipline a dog that you spent $155,000 on? I don't think I would take them to the dog run or on a walk, what if something happened? You would be out over 100k. Duh.

Dilly update

This is Dilly watching the bigger kids outside in the snow with Grandpa.

Dylon is now a full time walker. He has been able to walk for quite sometime, but after a few steps would revert back to crawling. Within the last few weeks he has transitioned himself to walking. It is pretty exciting, but I am not looking forward to him joining in when the all take off in different directions :-)

He is so cute, I love to watch baby's toddle around like that.

Lonnie

Lonnie's Birthday was last week. I didn't get a chance to put some thing down about him.
I really don't know what to say about this man that I love.
He is the man who has sold a motorcycle to buy an air conditioner fan.
He is the man that left a job he loved to pursue his education to better our family.
He is the man that goes to work everyday, no matter how much pain he is in so that I have the privilege to stay home.
He is amazing.
Lonnie is an avid comic book reader. He is a movie buff. Lonnie loves music, all kinds and is constantly challenging me to listen to new stuff, not just the same 3 bands.
He is incredibly smart. Last year he graduated with his AA in just under 16 months, and this year is scheduled to graduate this summer to fall with his bachelors degree.
He is a constant encouragement to me and to our kids.
I have the wonderful privilege of having "grown-up" with him, since we got married so young. I fell in love with him as a young man. Now I have the distinct honor of being married to to and even more in love with the man that he has become.

Take some boneless skinless chicken breast. Cut into small pieces. Marinade in Italian dressing. Cook in a skillet until caramelized on the outside. Then add 1 can of Italian stewed tomatoes. saute for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with whatever kind of pasta you like then
watch your husband clean out the pan and clean his plate dry.

Wy goes back to school today.
Ry goes tomorrow.
Lonnie is at work.
This means we off to the start of a normal week.
This means we (I) can start to get things back in order.
This is good.
