last week ry's class had a mother's day tee. it was cute. they sang songs and had a snack all made and ready for us.
they also made a little book in which they had answered several questions about their moms. here are some of ry's answers:
what is your mom's name? mary
how old is your mom? 23
what color is your mom's hair? pinkish-brownish
what is your mom's favorite color? pink
what is your mom's favorite thing to wear? dresses
what does your mom like to do when she is alone? laundry
what do you like to do to help your mom? help with laundry
and what does your mom make for you to eat? ry gave a perfect mac n cheese recipe (i believe wy picked the same dish in pre-k)
and when does your mom serve this? lunch and supper.
yep. that's me. 23, pink hair, wearing a dress, making mac n cheese and looking forward to being alone so i can do some laundry. :-)
A dream is like a river, ever changing as it flows. The dreamer's just a vessel that must follow where it goes.

ty
ok. so yesterday i had to go pick up wy from school. lonnie was just getting up from a nap so i left the kids home while i went to get him. then a quick stop at the bank.
when i walked in the house i smelled the acid smell of something burning. not good at all. not like matches, like smoldering.
i checked the dehumidifier to see if it was blocked or something. n problems there. i checked the stove and it was not on.
my iron was sitting on the counter. it felt warm. my thought was "why would they put my iron in the microwave?"
then ty complained his hands were sticky so i went to help him clean them off. that is when i saw it. the jar of jelly on the floor. and the wall
and the outlet.
right above the completely off color, slightly melted perfect outline of and iron melted into my carpet.
my light tan, 3 yr old carpet.
in. my. living. room.
yep.
so he didn't burn my house down, he wasn't hurt, everyone is ok, but there is still a rather large and obvious iron mark on my floor.
