routine

I am feeling much better about the state of things around the house today. There is carpet in both of the upstairs bedroom, laundry IN the dressers instead of ON them. And this afternoon before work, I found the laundry room floor.

All in all, a success.

I do still need to fix the dishwasher though. I just couldn't see tearing into that when there were so many other areas of the house that required fixing.

The kids start school next week. That will be good for me. Routine is always good for me. A bedtime, a wake up time, and a schedule of things to do in the middle. Always works much better for me than just free days. When free time is in front of me, I almost always waste it. I hate that, but I can't seem to stop it either.

Then school starts and a routine is handed to me. We will all be very much happier. And now my house is beginning to fall in order, so here we go.
