There are many ways to describe me. There are many ways to describe all of us. Some good, some bad. I am several good things. Some that I am not are organized and a morning person. I have always admired those people, the ones who greet each day and smile. that simply isn't me. I would rather stay up all night, and roll over as the sun comes up. The bad part about this is that i have 4 kids. God has ingrained in them the ability to be morning people. So I am trying to set up a new routine and get up earlier in the morning. The big flaw in this is simply that in order to get up early, you have to go to bed early. That is really hard for. So now I am going to bed around midnight or 1 and trying to get up around 6:30. Not such a good plan, but I am working on it.
The second thing I am not is organized. People are often confused by this one, but make no mistake, I am a complete flake. I am also slightly a slob. The reason my house is like it is, is because of Lonnie. He is not a slob, or a flake. So our house is often very clean. I am working on this also. I am trying a new plan from KarenEhman.com I am doing what she calls, Moms Brain in a Binder. I am not sure how it will work, but she bases it on the philosophy that we get so overwhelmed by all the things we need to do everyday, Instead of just focusing on "Do the next thing" She says when that is done, then move on. I am going to give it a whirl. Honestly, I really can't get much flakier than I am now. I am the person who has been known to walk away from an open half loaded dishwasher because i remembered the sheets needed to be changed. Kinda ADD huh?

I don't always comment on blogs because of time. I read your's every day! You say a lot of great stuff! I am working on the very same things. I get up early to exercise, but it kills me if I don't go to bed early. I am also trying to be more organized. I'm going to look at your binder idea. Thanks!
