Staurday

Today at our church was a prayer meeting of sorts. It was kind of like a class on how and why we pray. It was very interesting. I think that praying is something we all know we are supposed to do. There is almost a guilt or an obligation about it. It was neat to be in a room with a group of women who are discussing it more as a privilege and a joy than a task on the to do list. On thought that really resonated in my head is how God wants us to pray. He wants to hear our voice, our thoughts, or desires and our troubles. I think we can get caught up in that our prayer is small, and therefore doesn't matter. Logically we know that isn't the truth, but it is how we act.
I came away challenged and encouraged. I also came away with some neat ideas on how to leave a legacy for my kids. A legacy of a mom who prays for them on a regular basis. That they know their days are covered in prayer.

On a funnier side, there were activities for the kids, and about 30 min before we were done, Ty decided he was done, and came and found me. The 3 moms in the back said they couldn't figure out how he got past them. I said if they had a kid like him, they would be really used to it. It was really funny when he just walked in to where I was and announced that he was tired. I love that kid.
